Isaac McKay-Randozzi @isaacmckay_randozzi is one of the OG members of the HalfFrameClub. His Black and White work has always stood out for it's composition, contrast and occasional playfulness. There is also a gritty, 90's skateboard vibe about his work. Kinda like Grant Britain & Steve Sherman rolling around in some old issues of Thrasher and SLAP. It's some epic stuff.. Name Isaac McKay-Randozzi Residence Currently Tacoma, Washington soon another city in the US. Years Shooting 17 years Years Shooting Film 17 years Why Film? You can hold it and manipulate it with your hands. Why Halfframe? A friend sent me a PEN EE years ago, my first 35mm camera and I have been fascinated with the format since. What's your favorite Halfframe camera? What are your favorite films with halfframe? What's your favorite combo? The Olympus PEN FT and Ilford HP5 have been my go-to for close to ten years. What are you trying to do or show with your halfframe work? The similarity of difference. When you aren't shooting halfframe you are shooting... with a Pentax K1000, a Hasselblad 500cm and occasionally a Diana. Anything else you'd like us to know about you? Where to follow you beside on IG, etc.? Some of my hand made prints are available at www.equaldist.com Isaac McKay-Randozzi: Double Guitar, 2009 and my website is http://www.mydumbluck.com/ For me, photography is in part about capturing a special moment. A brief period in time when your eye is drawn to something, sometimes instantly apparent and sometimes something the subconscious is attracted to. When you expose a frame you save that fraction of a second (or longer) for as long as that film survives. Being able to take it into the darkroom and manipulate it (or not) to show more emotion and mood and put it on paper is where magic is. It is the connection back to what you're mind's eye saw and your hands can create in the moment.

Gold buyers in our city are really competitive, but I found that the small, family-owned shops often give better customer service and fairer prices.
